Liberals have banned the sale of most tobacco-free nicotine pouches outright.
Conservatives believe that Canadian adults should be free to access the smoking-cessation products that work for them. Those trying to quit smoking should have access to less harmful alternatives to cigarettes.
The small number of nicotine pouch products that Liberals have not banned are only available at pharmacies, which the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada says “could place additional burden on pharmacy professionals already operating under considerable constraints.”
