Restore the promise of Canada

Our country is in decline, and life is getting harder for all of us. Young men cannot be forgotten:

In 2024, 71% of apparent opioid toxicity deaths were men (Statistics Canada).
Boys account for 70% of suicides in older teens (SFU Children’s Policy Centre).
In 2023, 67% of homeless shelter users were men (Statistics Canada).
Since 2016, the homicide rate among men and boys as victims has increased by 20% (Statistics Canada).
In May 2025, unemployment among young men reached over 22%, the highest level in over a decade (Statistics Canada).
In 2020, 19% of boys did not graduate high school (Statistics Canada).

Canada needs a national conversation about the crisis facing young men, and we need the federal government to start taking these issues seriously.
